Eduardo Deneke

Grand Mesa, Colorado

I was born in 1959 in Mexico City and dedicated myself professionally for 20 years to do cabinetmaking and carpentry work, before starting my career as a healer. I studied various types of massage and specialized in Janzu, a relaxation therapy and meditation in water and also traditional Temazcal. I have been married to Nancy Terrill,  Granicera or Weather Worker in the Nahua tradition since 2012. I spend most of my time in Colorado USA with visits to Tepoztlan and sacred sites in Mexico for ceremony and pilgrimage.

22 years ago I met my teacher David Willey, Mara'akame and shaman in the Huichol tradition. In my first healing session with David, he told me that I had a call from the Gods to serve my people. It was from there that I began my pilgrimage year after year to various sacred sites to obtain knowledge and learn to bring medicine to my people. In 2019 I was initiated as a Mara'akame and  began to receive special training to attend patients with all kinds of ailments and diseases.

I  offer my humble services in the "Tuki", a sacred healing space and the house of the grandfather fire Tatewari, located in the town of Tepoztlan Morelos.  I also offer healing services at my home consultorio in the town of Mesa, Colorado.
